Although this is the first entry on the 2008 Paddling Team page, the team has been practicing since July.  After the national competition, we were really excited to begin paddling for next year and we began right away.  This year, we have several rookie paddliers and they are really excited about competing the the Mid-Pacific Conference in April.  In fact, we only have two returning team members from the 2007 paddling team.

After several months of hard work, the paddling coaches (Tarin Strickler and Joe Tartaglia) have narrowed down the strengths and weaknesses of each paddler and they have chosen preliminary race teams for the 2008 season.  The teams are as follows:
