The University of Nevada won the concrete canoe competition of the 2007 Mid-Pacific Conference! Additionally, we took 2nd place in tug-o-war (after San Jose), 1st place in concrete bowling, 1st place in volleyball, Spirit of the Competition, and 1st place in Mid-Pac overall! We were glad to see a strong showing from UC Berkeley and UC Davis in the canoe competition. Congratulations to all of the competitors, and we thank Santa Clara and San Jose for an amazing conference. Go Wolf Pack!

Although race day is usually full of excitement, the end of the Coed race brought a surprise to both Cal Berkeley and the University of Nevada; as both schools paddled across the finish line, Ceurlean struck the side of Bear Force One, puncturing a hole in the concrete. Luckilly, it happened after the last race and Cal still placed first overall in the races. Although the incident was accidental on both sides, we extend our deepest apologies to Cal because we all know how much time and effort was spent constructing their canoe.
